Experiment: get rid of television

Experiment: get rid of our television. Now, this might take awhile. We have the kind of t.v. that you find easily in cheap hotels in Cuba and pretty much no where else. Very, very outdated. And we have this analogue Tivo, a cast-off they sell to Canadians with a subscription that includes no real extras. Anything fun is not available to us so it is not much more than a dvr. I have been hesitating about upgrading our t.v. because then the Tivo is obsolete. And I pay a small fortune in a monthly subscription for our satellite t.v. And frankly, most of what we actually want to watch is stuff that is streaming online. So there must be a simple solution .. turn the old t.v. over to a Wii system when we can no longer hold out on that one. Then get a nice screen for a family online media centre. Hmm ... no rush, just an idea ...
