Various shopping experiments recently .. got a new case for my son's nintendo ds from Deal Extreme. Took kind of a long time and it will take me even longer to get the courage to change the hinge. Possibly around 3 hours, according to people who've tried. Got a favourite t-shirt reprinted at Zazzle .. that is nice, being able to replace beloved clothes with our children's drawings on them. Took long to arrive though, not sure what is going on with U.S. airmail these days. And I am noticing my interest in this blog here is waning .. perhaps it is going to be one of those things, one of those blogs that fade after just a month or so. How can it compete with the thrilling social whirl that is Facebook? Why do people even bother to have websites anymore, let alone blogs? Is anyone using email now except retail shops, a few parents and everyone at the school? Wouldn't a Facebook group work better for at least two of those?
Oh, got my Tivo to accept my home movies on its hard drive so now we can watch them from the comfort of my old ripped up couch.
